Husky Stadium is one of only two college venues in America where fans can attend by boat (other is the Univ. of Tennessee).

WashingtonCaptainsClub.com is home to all Washington Husky fans who are boaters and attend Husky football games by boat.

Husky fans have traveled to Husky Stadium by boat for decades, and in 2011 the Washington Captains Club is launching to celebrate the community of boaters supporting Washington Huskies football and celebrating boating to games at Montlake.

HOW TO JOIN
If you’ve ever boated to Husky Stadium for a University of Washington football game, you’re already a member of the Washington Captains Club! But now you can show your Husky boating pride by flying the Washington Captains Club flag on your vessel at each home game. Registration is FREE and the flags are available at select Husky home games this fall (see the schedule to the right for dates). The Washington Captains Club booth will be located between Husky Stadium (specifically The Zone) and the Waterfront Activities Center.

Plus, when you join the Washington Captains Club, you’ll receive special offers and deals throughout the year, and invitations to Captains Club events! CLICK HERE to register for these great club benefits. (Note: flags can only be obtained in person at the indicated Husky home games this fall).

TRAVELING TO HUSKY STADIUM BY BOAT

Arriving by boat is a great way to get to Husky Stadium. Many Husky fans arrive by boat, moor in Lake Washington and pick up the easy shuttle boat service to the dock adjacent to the stadium.

Click to Print your 2011 Boat Moorage Permit Application

  • Boat moorage at the dock requires a permit, available on a season or single game basis.
  • Your application, including a copy of your vessel registration and proof of insurance, must reach the Tyee Club office one week before the permit is needed.
  • Only those boats displaying a valid moorage permit will be allowed in the boat moorage area and provided moorage space on gameday.
  • View the Boat Moorage Map here.

BOAT SHUTTLE SERVICE
Husky fans arriving by boat may also use the boat shuttle service provided on gameday.

  • After you anchor in the bay, signal the boat shuttle service driver with a hand wave that you wish to be picked up for an inbound trip to the stadium.
  • The ride inbound is free; you pay for the outbound trip. Tickets for the outbound trip can be purchased for $8 per person at the Waterfront Activities Center before entering the stadium. Children under 12 ride free.
